BABY-G, the casual watch for active women that turns 25 in December 2019, is proud to announce a new model in collaboration with X-girl, a fashion line of authentic street styles for the modern woman. Like BABY-G, X-girl got its start back in 1994 and has been an important part of the street fashion scene since then.
The base model for this collaboration is the round face BGD-570. This model features a zebra pattern on black semi-transparent resin. The zebra pattern was popular back in the ’90s, which is perfect for a collaboration model that commemorates the beginnings of BABY-G and X-girl.
The face and band ring of the watch sport the X-girl logo, while the back cover features a logo designed by film and music video director Mike Mills. Packaging is a semi-transparent material shoulder bag, which is just as much a fashion item as the watch itself.
